Meet the Board Members
Our cooperative preschool is guided by a dedicated group of current parent and alumni parent volunteers who generously give their time, skills, and hearts to support our school community. Our board members work collaboratively to ensure a nurturing, well-run environment where children can learn, play, and grow. As parents themselves, they bring thoughtfulness, care, and a shared commitment to early childhood education. And because we’re a school that celebrates the joy of childhood, each board member bio includes their favorite children’s book — a small glimpse into the stories that inspire them both at home and in the classroom.
Ashlee Lauer
Co-President
Not to be confused with “Teacher Elizabeth”, Elizabeth Consani is the preschool co-president and her day job is working for Multnomah County. She is mom of two alumni students (who are now in their late teens) and she no longer drives a mini-van or keeps kid-friendly snacks stashed in her purse. She has held many positions on the preschool’s board and in many capacities of parent organizations at PPS where her kids attended school.
She is passionate about the needs of children and their families and is the guiding principle for the decisions made at Cathedral Park Preschool. In addition to her family, her loves are community, art, and our planet. Favorite food: “I really can’t get enough beets right now.”

Ashlee Lauer is mom to an amazing three year old and is the current Cathedral Park Co-President. Ashlee works as a mental health therapist helping people throughout Oregon, Washington, and Utah with a variety of mental health concerns. Outside of work, Ashlee loves reading, running, trying new restaurants, and exploring parks with her family and dogs.

Erin Wasley
Secretary
She loves her bread, she loves her butter, but most of all, she loves…Cathedral Park Preschool!
Erin is mom to 4 and 6-year old kiddos and the current CPP secretary. Erin has worked as an attorney in the areas of family and immigration law and now volunteers to help her community in North Portland. Erin is excited to be a part of the Cathedral Park Preschool community and to serve as secretary.
Erin enjoys baking sourdough bread, reading, going for walks while listening to a podcast or audiobook, and traveling the world. Can’t live without: Mexican food!
Lillian Lauer is the current Treasurer. She is mom to two boys, the younger of whom joined Cathedral Park Preschool (CPP) in spring 2025. Like Mrs. Mallard from Robert McCloskey’s Make Way for Ducklings—a story set in her hometown of Boston—she loves keeping everything on track and moving smoothly.
When she isn’t collecting tuition payments or managing the books, Lillian works as a fractional people operations/HR professional for start-ups, chairs community events with the parents association at Holy Cross Catholic School, and serves as co-treasurer for the Smith College Club of Oregon.
Megan Pardee
Membership Coordinator
Megan Pardee is a mom to a 5-year-old current Cathedral Park Preschool student and a step mom to a 26-year-old college graduate. Megan spends her time tending her garden, wild crafting herbal medicine, swimming in lakes and helping people feel better in their bodies as a massage therapist in Southeast Portland. Her favorite Halloween costume is witch. As the membership officer for Cathedral Park Preschool she loves to find a way to make room in the classroom for your kiddo.
